Join City of Hope - Duarte Team as an Interventional Radiology Care Assistant within our MRI Department, where you'll shine in the spotlight of healthcare excellence! As an IR Care Assistant, you will be responsible for the accurate care coordination of inpatient and outpatient interventional radiological procedures and related outpatient pre- and post-procedural appointments.

As a successful candidate, you will: 

  • Be directly responsible for coordinating interventional radiological cases and outpatient procedures for the department radiology and all of the associated divisions
  • Coordinate interventional radiological procedures with IR staff and patient to ensure patients are properly scheduled for all procedures and clinic appointments
  • Schedule pre-op appointments; ensures all documentation is complete and the correct information is communicated and distributed to the patients in a timely manner

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • High school degree or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements. LVN or similar patient care experience preferred.
  • Two years work experience in a medical environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association)
