As Research Business Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, supporting vital research and financial operations. You will implement procedures and utilize sound judgement to communicate and guide staff and faculty. Have expert knowledge in the areas of research administration and organization policies, procedures, and systems. This remote position offers a chance to make a real impact while working from the comfort of your home.

As a successful candidate, you will be:

  • Oversee financial management for research portfolios, approving reports, and analyses.
  • Develop budgets and manage resource allocation for projects.
  • Coordinate complex proposal submissions and manage extramural funds.
  • Guide personnel actions and facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and staff support.
  • Assist in departmental business activities and ensure compliance with institutional requirements.
  • Lead meetings, mentor staff, and oversee administrative functions.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 3+ years of administration experience in academic research or healthcare, with 2+ years in management.
