The successful candidate:

City of Hope Chicago (Zion, IL), a leading network of cancer hospitals and outpatient centers, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist to join our esteemed team. We offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment dedicated to transforming healthcare by integrating cutting-edge research and compassionate care.

  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside top-tier oncologists and specialists, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to deliver outstanding patient care.

  • Innovative Treatment: Engage in advanced diagnostic and treatment options, including clinical trials and precision medicine.

    • Our hematology program is fully integrated for all aspects of the research and clinical mission, and leverages City of Hope’s program leadership and long history of preeminence in hematology. This is a clinically focused staff position and applicants with significant experience in the treatment of Lymphoid malignancies, Leukemias (Chronic and Acute), or Plasma Cell Disorders (Myeloma) is highly desired.

  • Professional Growth: Participate in program development, growth initiatives, and maintain effective communication with referring physicians.

  • Patient-Centered Care: Deliver care with empathy and clarity, earning respect through a humble, confident approach.

Position Highlights:

  • Competitive Compensation: Includes a highly competitive salary, signing bonus, and productivity/performance incentives.

    • Salary Range: $250k-$650k 

    • The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for specialty, experience, training, hospital/community needs and other factors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or Foreign Equivalent

  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology

  • Experience treating Lymphoid malignancies, Leukemias (Chronic and Acute), or Plasma Cell Disorders (Myeloma) desired

  • Must have or be eligible to obtain Illinois Medical License prior to start date
