The successful candidate:

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated driver to transport patients, caregivers, and administrative staff in extra-length vehicles within a 70-mile radius of Zion, Illinois. The driver will ensure passengers' needs are met by providing exceptional customer service, creating a comfortable experience, and representing City of Hope in a professional and positive manner.

Responsibilities:

• Transport patients, caregivers, and administrative staff to various locations within a 70-mile radius of Zion, Illinois.

• Provide quality customer service to ensure maximum comfort for passengers.

• Represent City of Hope in a professional and positive manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of driving experience.

• Familiarity with the Chicagoland area or ability to read and comprehend road maps.

• Valid driver's license for the state of residence.

• Valid DOT medical certification (currently in possession or will need to obtain upon hire).

• Excellent driving record for the past three years.

• Sound judgment and quick decision-making skills in inclement weather, with ill passengers, and in traffic situations.

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Working knowledge of defensive driving rules and techniques.
