The successful candidate:
The Senior Analyst, Chargemaster and Healthcare Analytics will work closely with internal business partners to develop and implement pricing strategies that meet contractual commitments while minimizing risk. This involves analyzing and optimizing prices, developing financial forecasts, and tracking. Works directly with customers and site-specific leads in order to provide support for on-going chargemaster projects. Serves as an expert on chargemaster analytics and financial impact modeling. Apply knowledge of our systems, policies and processes to design, document and implement pricing configuration that meet business and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, mathematical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of modeling, forecasting techniques, and optimization methodologies are highly desirable. This role requires outstanding financial acumen and the ability to understand payer contractual language. The ability to work in a matrixed environment and prioritize competing needs to ensure focus on high-impact activities is also essential.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Requires bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in healthcare environment with exposure to chargemaster analytics, reimbursement methodologies, and price transparency
- Preferred Experience: 5+ years of Experience in healthcare, hospital, or professional medical services preferred, experience in the context of finance and operations within these industries is highly preferred; Experience building chargemaster analytics, reimbursement methodology, and price transparency; Modeling gross and net revenue impact
- Skills/Abilities: Must demonstrate both analytical and relationship skills, as this person will be working on highly complex projects at the highest levels of the organization and communicating with the highest level of stakeholders; Strategic and process-oriented mindset, facilitating detailed and insightful problem-solving sessions. Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail. Critical thinker. Advanced skills and knowledge in Excel
