Every other weekend
Job Summary: The Environmental Services Technician is a member of the City of Hope Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned units of the hospital. This position operates equipment and utilizes necessary tools, products, and supplies to complete general cleaning duties with the goal of providing a safe, attractive environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the hospital. Duties may include, but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning light fixtures and furniture, and emptying trash for the assigned unit.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
