We are seeking a skilled professional responsible for creating and maintaining major application enhancements and customizations using both vendor-delivered and generic programming tools. This role involves developing new computerized systems, rewriting existing ones, and providing technical and user support for these systems. Additionally, the position includes troubleshooting hardware/software issues, investigating and testing new software and programming techniques, and offering technical leadership in the area of expertise. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical experience and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

As a successful candidate, you will:

·       Provides system design assistance and develops sub-systems as directed by project leader or manager.

·       Designs, develops, documents, and tests programs; assists with system testing and requirements.

·       Analyzes user requirements and creates detailed specifications for computerized systems.

·       Manage project schedules, participate in user interface development, and prepare reports/graphics.

·       Coordinates system implementation, including hardware/software installation, user training, and testing.

·       Offers technical support to end-users, resolving issues and defining system enhancements.

·       Maintains professional development through seminars and workshops and follows department policies.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

·       Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); 5-8 years of experience (3-5 with a Master's); proficiency in at least two high-level programming languages.

·       Skills: Experience with structured development, SQL, SQR, Peoplesoft, Crystal Reports; hospital experience preferred.

·       Supervisory experience and strong interpersonal skills preferred.
