The successful candidate:

This is a Full-time, salaried position. Hours will vary depending on events scheduled, including some evenings and weekends.

The Community Relationship Manager is accountable for the success of hyperlocal initiatives. This includes developing and maintaining long-term successful relationships with a portfolio of within the community. Responsibilities include onboarding new relationships, managing initiatives aimed at market development, implementing new product solutions to meet community needs, and managing/executing operational strategy. The manager is also responsible for managing the operational workflows between key relationships and City of Hope.

  • Maintains collaborative and solution focused communications within the community, is main point of contact for key relationships.

  • Leads multidisciplinary project team and owns project plan and schedule for community and educational activities including coordinating internal resources.

  • Develop and oversee operational workflows that support key relationships within the community; responsible to complete key program milestones on time and within budget.

  • Manages and nurtures relationships with the goal of growing awareness of City of Hope services.

  • Responsible for increasing incoming patient volume through ongoing relationship management with internal and external customers

  • Routine onsite visits with key relationships.

  • Preforms quarterly audit and summery of findings to executive leadership to ensure community needs assessment is being met.

  • Analyze market data to identify unmet need and growth opportunities.

  • Partner with internal and external clinical and operational teams to identify best practices and opportunities to best serve patients.

  • Contributes to overall strategy of hyperlocal strategy and community benefit. 

  • Develops and delivers educational presentations to community groups and key relationships.

  • Develops pathways and implements service lines to meet City of Hope and community needs

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing or healthcare OR equivalent work experience.

  • Master's degree preferred

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of health care experience preferred

  • A minimum of 3 years project management or operations experience preferred

  • Proven experience communicating with top executives and physicians

Minimum Experience:

  • Ability to execute strategic direction and commit to a long-range goal

  • Must be goal-oriented and demonstrate the ability to achieve goals in a team environment

  • Possess creative thinking skills to navigate complicated situations with a strong ability to problem solve

  • Ability to influence and motivate staff and resources consistent with organization goals

  • Ability to work at a fast pace, prioritize multiple activities and respond in a timely manager to numerous requests

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
