The successful candidate:

This is an ONSITE position - M-F 7:30am - 4pm Est.

The Patient Financial Services Advocate will have primary responsibility for working delayed and denied potential patients with insurance barriers preventing them from receiving services.  This role has the potential to directly impact patient capture rates and increase revenues. The Patient Financial Services Advocate serves as front line and is capable of providing registration coverage and is a resource for the Oncology Information Specialists and prospective City of Hope patients. 

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Some experience with healthcare scheduling and patient registration preferred
  • MS Excel, Outlook and EPIC
  • 3-5 years' experience with progressive responsibility is required in lieu of Associates/Bachelor's degree
