This is a hybrid position, and the incumbent is expected to be on-site at least three days per week.

We are currently seeking a project coordinator under the department of population sciences. The project coordinator provides support to the Director for the development and coordination of all program activities. 

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Support the Director and programs with administrative aspects of our cancer screening program including maintaining program’s tracking databases.
  • Assist Director with the organization, development, implementation and evaluation of new and existing programs, activities and strategies.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategy plan including all marketing and educational materials e.g., electronic and website content and layout to promote programs to meet metrics including addressing societal determinants of health, cancer burden and disparities.
  • Provides director with administrative support for research being conducted under the program to include development of recruitment strategies, participant, public and community engagement, supporting the development of a monitoring and evaluation infrastructure for the prostate cancer screening program.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
  • 2 years of related program/project coordination experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MA/MS, DrPH, PhD or similar advanced degrees.
  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification, Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS).
