City of Hope Medical Group is Seeking a Psychiatrist to Join our Orange County Team
Join one of the top 5 cancer centers in the nation! Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute is seeking to hire a full-time Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join our clinical faculty at City of Hope, Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, hospital, and surrounding network sites locations in Southern California . We are seeking research and mission- minded physicians to provide inpatient and outpatient care to our patients ensuring that patient centered care is at the center of our work.
Our interdisciplinary team - composed of specialist physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, chaplains, and others - works with patients to meaningfully improve their medical, psychosocial, and behavioral health needs during and after cancer treatment. By bringing together clinical services, treatments, and the respective multidisciplinary team in one place, we can truly deliver world class cancer care that is coordinated and effective for our patients. Position Benefits:
- Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan

- Base Salary Range: $300,000 - $335,000 The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors

Qualifications:
- Academic record consistent with appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level at an ACGME accredited program.
- Additional training in psycho-oncology or consultation-liaison psychiatry
- Experience with cancer patients, preferred but not required
- Applicants must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from an accredited educational institution and boarded (or board eligible) in psychiatry
- Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California
