X-Ray Technologist, Lead – Radiology Imaging

The X-Ray Technologist, Lead assists the Imaging Manager in managing workflow and implementing Quality Control programs within the Radiology Department. This role involves providing radiologic services to patients 80% of the time while ensuring efficient department operations and maintaining high-quality standards. As a successful candidate, you will: 

  • In conjunction with the Imaging Manager, oversee the technologists of the X-ray Department during daily activities
  • Share with the Imaging Manager the responsibility of coordinating the technical radiologic services of the X-ray Department
  • Review scheduled procedures, monitors incoming orders, reviews priorities, and modify staffing assignments accordingly
  • Evaluate exams for technical quality and completeness and submits for review via PACS system
  • Review orders for Diagnostic Imaging tests for appropriateness, modify orders according to policy or reviews with radiologist when non-standard

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School or equivalent; Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
  • 3 years experience in radiology department, preferably within a hospital setting
  • CRT (Radiography and Fluoroscopy)
  • ARRT
  • CPR
